The weather last night was pitch perfect for an outdoor concert-going experience, and Juana Molina was just divine at Summerstage. Simply listening to her is captivating, but we were a few feet from the stage and got to see her working her loop-pedal magic; needless to say, it's mesmerizing to see/hear her effortlessly add layer upon layer upon layer to each song, accompanied only by a bassist and drummer.
My only regrets? a.) forgetting my camera at home (at least I got a decent picture from my phone), and b.) only being able to understad snippets of her lyrics (four years of spanish in high-school down the drain).
