Piano Organ Bank

A lovely short film about the oldest piano shop in Paris. Its owner, Marc Manceaux, says oh so correctly, "As long as I have some water, a candle, a hardback book, an old piano, I'll still be alive."

Amen.

  3. You've gotta love the French. A beautifully shot film about a timeless subject. And it's good to know that he doesn't just dream about pianos...

  4. Widely used in classical and jazz music for solo performances, ensemble use, chamber music and accompaniment, the piano is also very popular as an aid to composing and rehearsal. Although not portable and often expensive, the piano's versatility and ubiquity have made it one of the world's most familiar musical instruments. Thanks.
